Welcome to a special edition of Founders Club Timisoara, where we are committed to showcasing the best practices and the success stories of local startups that are scaling globally. This event is possible with the support of EIT Digital, Startup Reaktor, and Techcelerator, powered by ROTSA and with the support of other local actors in the ecosystem and hosted at FABER.
In the month dedicated to women, we bring on Timisoara's stage: Oana Csertus, Co-Founder of Cobalt Sign, Roxana Margan Co-founder and CEO at ORIGINi and Alexandra Jivan Partner at Legal For, also as moderator.
With 17 years of tech expertise, Oana Csertus co-founded Cobalt Sign to create standout digital products, blending engineering skills, a passion for UX, and business acumen. SOana stands out for translating visions into tech solutions, backed by a track record in math and a commitment to social good, including pro bono apps for NGOs and teaching software development. She is also an angel investor, supporting promising startups. Outside of work, she is passionate about STEM education, community service, and travelling, which led her to create Ready Set Holiday!, a travel companion app with over 2 million users.
Roxana Margan CEO at ORIGINi (formerly known as Oncochain) is a dedicated healthcare professional and innovator, specializing in health technologies and their application in medical research. Roxana is training an OB/GYN specialist physician with an interest in endometriosis and infertility. Having worked both in the French and Romanian healthcare systems, she possesses a profound understanding of the European healthcare landscape and its needs. She is committed to developing and implementing solutions that address the genuine needs and challenges faced by doctors in performing research.
Alexandra Jivan our edition moderator, is a tech, investment and data protection lawyer, with nearly 15 years of experience in business consulting. As a partner at @ Legal For, during the past 4 years, she focused on coordinating VC transactions, providing legal advice to both business angels and startups, in over 40 projects. Because of her direct implication and passion for this field, she is often sought out as a mentor for startups and a speaker at VC events, being also a business angel herself.

Please see below the event schedule:
18:00 - 18:30 Welcoming & Networking
18:30 - 20:00 Fireside chat with Oana. Roxana and Alexandra.
20:00 - 21:30 Networking

In this series of events, we facilitate connections for founders with business peers, advisors, investors, technology partners, innovators in local companies, and public stakeholders.
We are designing each event having in mind the already existing best practices in the local community, the frameworks of validation & scaling used to build lean startups & MVPs that accelerate international expansion. We are always considering the Paul Graham startup definition: “A startup is a temporary organization in search of a highly scalable and repeatable business model”. There is not enough to be big in your home market.
And now:
Have you started a startup and are you looking to achieve bigger traction? Maybe you’re a serial entrepreneur looking for a new round of funding, a skilled developer, or a marketer looking to go out on your own, or corporate life simply isn’t for you.

  • Join the live and interactive events and pitch your ideas to include you in a future session (send us a message asap)
  • Interested in being a speaker in the future to share your big achievements? (send us a message asap).

Join the regular events to meet successful startups in Romania that managed to break the gravitational force and validate their business cases.
