This seminar will cover various issues relating to starting and capitalizing a new venture. Topics include:
(i) selection of business entity: tax, finance, and other considerations,
(ii) equity structure and compensation of founders and employees, including equity structure options, and
(iii) financing issues, including a description of the traditional source of capital and what they are and how to best position the company for raising capital.
