Quick Run to El Valle de Guadalupe (Baja)

Last minute notice: I've got a friend that will be riding with some friends up from Chihuahua, Mexico to El Valle de Guadalupe, Baja. Hay alguien aquí que hable un poco de español más que "Dónde está el bano," o "Una cerveza más, por favor?" I am thinking about a quick jaunt down to meet up with him and his friends. What I am thinking about is a 3 day ride down, 1 or 2 days there, 2 days back. Since this is impromptu, staying in cheap motels rather than camping. This is last minute and tentative, so I am just fishing to see if anyone is up for a quick ride south of the border.
