Application Security: The Importance of Security Updates

Part 1: Alejandro Salinas will provide an introductory level presentation of some of the most widespread website vulnerabilities. We will present on the effects each vulnerability carries, potential attack vectors, mitigation techniques, and how Drupal coding standards promote best practice and safe development. A demonstration showing the effects of a worst-case scenario attack on Drupal will conclude the presentation.

Part 2: Drupal Task Automation and scripting. John Siciliano will expand on last month's preview sharing some new work on automating tasks using the command line interface and install profiles and scripts.
