You said DevOps ? - Introduction to DevOps

Dear Craftsmen, DevOps, and friends,

Here we are again :)
For our next MeetUp, Wemanity has the pleasure of welcoming Maxime Choffat. Maxime worked for 5 years on GIS (Geographical Information Systems) in France, from development to application deployment.
As the project evolved, so did his role, making him and the team go towards Agile and DevOps to ensure the project is run well and with a good level of quality.
Now he's working at Nalys as a consultant on build and development tools and methods for ING.

We hear a lot about DevOps, so let us discuss on how to define it.

We will :

• See where it comes from, how and why it became trendy.
• Try to link it better with agile
• How it impacts organizations, on a structural, methodological perspective.
• Have an overview of the tooling

A sharing session will take place afterward with pizzas and a few beers to discuss and share :-)
