The advancements in neurotechnology are making it infiltrate many other fields such as gaming, medicine, meditation, design, the arts, and more. NeuroTechDesign is an open-ended NeurotechX event series lead by the Barcelona Chapter, with the aim of hosting guests who are contributing to this umbrella topic through their work.
We will talk neuroscience, neurotechnology, design, art, architecture, brain-computer interfaces, health, wellbeing, and more with guests of expertise across research, innovation, and the industry to generate an online knowledge base that on one hand is an eye-opener on this topic and on the other, paving the way for future research.

Maryam Banaei @NeuroTechDesign
Maryam Banaei, Ph.D. is a Neuroarchitecture researcher at the University of Technology Sydney, with research interests that span architecture, neuroscience, health, and well-being in spatial environments. Her work investigates the impact of the built environment on human emotional states through utilizing neurotechnology. She is also the "founder and CEO of the Mental Arch a built environment assessment service in Sydney that works in neuroarchitecture."
