SydPHP - January 2019 Meetup

Details
Please join us for our first meetup of 2019.
We're excited to welcome Matthieu Napoli as a remote speaker for our first meetup of 2019.
He'll share his journey into serverless application development with PHP and about his project called Bref which provides a serverless deployment process tailored for PHP.

A journey towards serverless on a ship called PHP :: Matthieu Napoli
"I got started with AWS Lambda because it runs code cheaply. Soon after, I realized how the shift in resource allocation and scaling can create great opportunities. Then, working on Bref and using it, I loved how simple deploying and running code had become. But as we move into the serverless world, I get the feeling that there is even more to it…"
PHP data structures :: Szasza Palmer
"PHP has baseline data types everyone knows about. Other languages however have more advanced data structures like stacks, heaps, hash maps, and fixed-length arrays, with which area PHP compares poorly since it's array/object duo is being used for everything. Or is there something we don't know about?"

Binary bitwise operators :: Nootan Ghimire
