In today's data ecosystem, every company must build a dream team to attract and retain the best talents. What are the levers we can act on to build such a team? A talk with strong assumptions as food for thoughts.

About the speaker: Christophe is an independent senior data engineer living between Paris and Berlin and working on all kinds of data platforms. He likes Python, simple code, and data visualization.

19:30-20:00 – Irina Brudaru and Elizabeth Press: Building your company’s first data competency

This talk will help business leaders, founders, and managers, who want to build data competence in their companies. Irina and her peers compiled experiences and advice from greenfield veterans with different backgrounds from a wide variety of companies, ranging from startups to industrial mid-market companies. The common factor was that each of these people built a new data function in a given company.

About the speakers:

Irina is a technical manager and data generalist with 15 years of experience.

Elizabeth Press is a commercially-minded data leader, avid blogger, and published author. During the five years that D3M Labs was a consulting company, Elizabeth wrote the D3M Labs Manifesto that she used to create data strategies for her clients, who included Rolls-Royce, the German Foreign Office, and Betahaus.
