This group is open to all ages and aims to organise a variety of events that appeal to a wide range of interests. If you live in or near Nottingham and want to meet new friends and have some fun days and nights out then do join us. I can promise you will meet some great people, make new friends and enjoy yourself.
We have strong links with Nottingham Gig Buddies and Nottingham Culture & Café Scientifique, with whom we share many members; so why not join as many as you like and have a packed social calendar!

This unmissable night has been running monthly for several years now and has proven to be extremely popular, regularly selling out. It's a great chance to see a mixture of up-and-coming and established acts at a price that won't break the bank. Everyone is friendly and has a good time but it's perfect for new Meetuppers, as it's relaxed and fun without the pressure of having to make small talk all evening. Come on down for your comedy fix in the unique and atmospheric surroundings of a historic sandstone cave!

This often sells out early, so don't wait to pay on the door!We'll meet in the ground floor bar area; pink carnations optional. The gig is on the floor below and several rows of seats are usually reserved for Meetuppers to sit together.
Parking: There are spaces on the street outside which charge until 10pm. The nearest free parking is over Canning Circus, eg the top of Cromwell Street, and there may be some on the Ropewalk. Comment with any other tips and I'll add them in future listings!

TRENT LOCK TO LONG EATON 7.5 MILE CIRCULAR WALK
Trent Lock, Lock Lane Sawley Long Eaton, Derby, GBMeet 10:50 for 11:00 start...
A flat route with few stiles and mostly good footpaths.
Heading out by the canal path to Sawley, then heading to the footpath via the estate and park.
Emerging on Derby Road, we will take a 30-minute break at the Eaton Farm pub.
Then back on the canal, taking a slight detour into town (part closure), rejoining the path all the way back to the starting point.ROUTE MAP
