Writing a Horror Movie: From Idea to Script (In-person screenwriting workshop)
Details
I want to inform you of an interesting MeetUp started by skillca.mp! They have over 10 people attending, and it's a FREE event run by Conor Kyle. If you like HORROR, then join with fantastic people! Learn about how the writers of Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie, Stephen King, and more were created! You can volunteer (or donate)!
In this intensive one-day crash course, screenwriter Conor Kyle guides you through the process of shaping your raw horror movie idea into the framework of a dramatic screenplay. Together, we’ll break down genre expectations and the mechanics of horror writing, refine your concept and workshop the major beats of your script. By the end of the day, each attendee will leave with a detailed story outline that will serve as the blueprint for writing your feature-length screenplay.
