April's Dinner Club is a return to an old faithful friend, Bistro1 on Frith Street in Soho. For those of you who have never been to Bistro1 before, here is some information about them from their website. *We serve some of the most amazing foods from around the Mediterranean. Our food is simple, delicious & flavoursome.* *We have been serving London for over 20 years. It goes without saying that we’ve been in central London long enough to know what our customers enjoy.* *You’ll find simple yet delicious Mediterranean dishes on our menu. We are confident you’ll enjoy our food & restaurant.* Bistro1 is not fine dining but they serve delicious food at very reasonable prices and are always very accommodating to us as a group. Their menu can be viewed using the link below. This month we will meet in Village on Wardour Street from 6pm. Dinner at Bistro1 is at 7.30pm. You can come straight there if you can't or do not wish to come for a pre-dinner drink. To RSVP, you need to pay a deposit of £11. £10 will go towards your meal (we always split the bill evenly between all who attend). The remaining £1 is split between PayPal and Meetup Costs. Following the meal, some of us often head off for a a post-dinner beverage. We decide this on the night. Spaces for this meal are limited to 18. If you have always thought about coming along for a meal or have not been for a while - it will be great to see you/welcome you. This event is for ages 50-65 (age guide) and has an equal ratio of men and women. Expect to meet a lots of single professionals at the best Speed Dating event in the City on Friday night. Easily one of our most popular events with a great crowd every week. Speed Dating kicks off at 8pm prompt and any guests arriving late may not be able to take part so please ensure you arrive 15-30 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow for registration. The famous Seven Sisters ! 13 miles long with at least 7 major hills and one of the best coastal walks in southern England with fabulous views ! Only attempt this walk if you are fine with dealing with so many difficult hills taking into account also the length of the walk ! Let's go with the flow ! Group return train tickets shall be purchased as from 8.50am for the train at 9.24am that arrives at Seaford at 10.48am after changing trains at Lewes. Train ticket : Seaford return Or you may decide to drive. At Seaford we shall go to the public toilets a few minutes away from the train station. Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and wear boots, walking shoes or trainers. MEETUP FEE SPECIAL OFFER £5 ! Meetup fee : normally £8 payable in cash or £6 by Friday in advance by bank transfer, details supplied by private message. The walk shall commence by 11.10am after we stop off for public toilets NEAR Seaford train station. We shall have a drink at the end of the walk in Eastbourne and perhaps fish and chips too. At Eastbourne train station a small supplementary fare shall need be purchased in respect of the first part of the return journey to Lewes which was not covered by the return train ticket purchased in the morning.
