**A few words about your teacher**
Maria started practicing Kundalini yoga in 2021 through the sadhanas at the Shunia yoga center in Barcelona. In Spring 2023 she did the 200-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training. Meanwhile, she explored other forms of yoga and meditation. She is currently based between Paris and Berlin, doing research on urban rewilding, envisioning cities more open to animals and plants.
**What is Ashtanga Yoga?**
Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic and meditative practice that links each posture through a flowing sequence. It was founded by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (1915–2009). For 25 years, Pattabhi Jois studied under Tirumalai Krishnamacharya, who is considered the father of modern yoga. After many years of following his teachings, Pattabhi Jois established his own yoga school in 1948: the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore, India. From the 1960s onward, students from around the world came to discover this style of yoga and helped spread its practice globally.
💛**A free class, open to everyone**
This session is offered voluntarily, with the intention of making yoga accessible to all.

If you wish, you can make a donation to support the animal cause. This month, YOCA sheds light on the protection of cetaceans and the end of their exploitation. All donations will go to the One Voice association, which opposes the captivity of dolphins and orcas in marine parks.
