Talk 2 - Building a Self-Updating ML Pipeline on AWS - Level 200 (30min)

• Description: This talk is a retrospective on a real-world project delivered by a Netlight team in spring 2024. We’ll walk through how we built a batch-based, AWS-native ML pipeline from scratch, using XGBoost for model training. The pipeline runs on a schedule, retrains itself, and redeploys models automatically. Expect a down-to-earth look at the architecture, lessons learned, and why simplicity often wins.
