That said, simply migrating to AWS isn’t enough to meet the Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) and Cloud Financial Management (CFM) goals that today’s customers are setting.
In this session, you will discover Amazon’s best practices for reviewing cloud workloads and optimizing them in line with sustainability goals. This will enable you to have a consistent approach to delivering actionable outcomes, and design with cost and sustainability in mind. After this session, you will be able to create a view that aligns financial targets with sustainability goals. We will explore technologies, architectures, and patterns that help meet these goals and become design considerations to help benefit the budget and create a more sustainable world. - Speaker: Reem Gaafar is a Senior Technical Account Manager with over 17 years of experience supporting Customers in various Industries. Talk - Harnessing observability to optimize your serverless workloads - Description: Observability is more than monitoring your workload—you also need logs and traces for full visibility into your applications. Many serverless workloads consist of components distributed over multiple accounts and teams. This requires you to join and correlate information from many sources to gain an understanding of the overall system. You then have to ask the right questions to gain insights from the data. In this session, learn how to improve your observability foundations and derive valuable insights to understand and optimize your serverless workloads.
