Talk 1 - From ClickOps to DevOps and Beyond – How IT Evolved 🧠
- Description: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) has transitioned from a cutting-edge idea to a fundamental requirement. In the dynamic landscape of IT, the shift from ClickOps to DevOps has marked a pivotal evolution in how we approach cloud infrastructure and software development. This journey, however, is far from complete. Let’s explore the transformation that has led us beyond traditional DevOps, into the realms of platform engineering and the essential practice of treating everything as code. We’ll explore the shift towards automation and self-service platforms, emphasising how these advancements empower developers and operators with greater agility and efficiency.
- Speaker: Linda Mohamed
- About the Speaker: Linda has been navigating the tech landscape for over a decade. She is specialized in Cloud Technologies, IT Process Optimization, and Agile Methodologies. When she is not guiding companies on their cloud journey, she is diving into AI/ML Services and Technologies, and sharing her insights at AWS community events and other tech platforms.
Beyond her professional commitments, Linda is an AWS Community Hero and deeply involved in Women in Tech initiatives, advocating for greater representation and inclusivity. In Vienna, she is the familiar face behind AWS meetups and other community gatherings, creating a welcoming space where every voice is valued and heard. In addition, Linda holds the title of Chairperson for the AWS Community DACH Support Association and is member of the Funding Advisory Board of netidee.
Talk 2 - Fortifying the Cloud with the backup strategy in AWS💡

- About the Speaker: Husain Yusuf, a cloud engineer with experience in designing and managing scalable, secure cloud infrastructures at Devoteam. When not wrangling cloud environments, Husain enjoys dabbling in quirky coding projects and convincing friends that “cloud computing” isn’t about weather prediction.

- The highlight of the evening will be our Women in Tech Discussion, a 15-minute session presented by Linda Mohamed (AWS Hero) , Annariina Komljenovic (Country Director AWS at Devoteam Germany and President of RightsTech Women) and Shubhangi Soni (AWS UG Frankfurt Co-Lead and AWS Community Builder)
