About us
The Ghostlights Collective is a monthly gathering in Manchester for people who think deeply, feel quietly, and create from the inside out.
It’s a space for writers, artists, photographers, thinkers, and wanderers who are tired of noise, performance, and surface-level connection. We meet to slow down, share meaning, and make sense of things together.
Each gathering is shaped around a gentle, human theme. Memory. Longing. Love. Loss. Resilience. The inner wilderness. These themes guide conversation and simple creative prompts, but nothing is forced.
You can bring a poem, a photograph, a page of writing, a thought that won’t leave you alone, or nothing at all. Listening is participation.
This isn’t a workshop, networking event, or open mic. There’s no pressure to impress, explain, or perform. The focus is presence, honesty, and quiet connection.
This space is for:
• Creatives of any kind
• Deep thinkers and reflective souls
• People who feel out of place in loud social scenes
• Anyone craving meaning, slowness, and real connection
What to expect:
• One monthly gathering (2–3 hours)
• A calm, welcoming, respectful atmosphere
• Gentle structure with themed prompts
• Sharing by choice, silence allowed
The Ghostlights Collective is about building something slow, human, and lasting. A place to be seen without needing to shine.
If that resonates, you’re welcome.
