Perivale Wood opens its gates only a handful of times each year, and Saturday 25 April is one of those rare chances to explore one of London’s oldest private nature reserves with a camera in hand.

We’ll meet at the entrance:

Once inside, expect ancient woodland, spring colour, quiet paths, and the kind of calm that feels miles away from West London—even though it’s right on our doorstep. This is a relaxed, photography‑friendly visit: all cameras welcome, from phones to medium format.

Whether you’re shooting nature, textures, colour, or just enjoying a slow walk with fellow photographers, this is a lovely chance to experience Perivale Wood at its best.
