Title of Talk:
Database pipelines with Apache Kafka - Let the Database Stream !
Abstract:
Everyone stores data in different systems and databases. Moving data from one system to another is called a data pipeline. Data pipelines allow data to be moved between operational and analytical systems in an organization. Apache Kafka is a popular choice for scenarios where features like “write once, read many”, or a guaranteed order of messages are important.
The talk will focus on different use cases for transferring data between different database systems and Apache Kafka and shows different approaches and examples, including best practices and a short live demo.
