I'm thrilled to announce that by Infomotion will be hosting and sponsoring the event at their beautiful premises in Frankfurt's Westhafen 🎉

📍 We will meet in the Westhafen Tower starting as of 6PM and relax with some food and drinks.

This presentation delves into the implementation and operation of a Data Mesh, showcasing Data Products within a Trading IT organization in an ongoing project. It will cover the rationales behind the architectural decisions, the organizational change process, key learnings, and best practices. Additionally, attendees will gain an in-depth look under the hood of a Data Product. Ultimately, this discussion aims to evaluate the benefits and challenges of Data Mesh in this use case and to answer the question: does it live up to the hype?

Speakers:

• Daniel Stiller is a Cloud Data Engineer at INFOMOTION GmbH and the Business Development Co-Lead for Data Automation & Data Integration. He leverages his expertise in cloud-based data management and data engineering in projects with customers from the financial services and energy sectors. Currently, he works with modern data stacks, with Snowflake as a centrepiece.
