☃️❄️ First snow at the highest peaks of Taunus, castles & Königstein parks 🏰

We start at the peak of Großer Feldberg (880 m) and visit the viewpoints. Then we hike a little bit down to a Roman castle ruin and up to the Feldberg (880 m). From there we hike to Fuchstanz, where we will have lunch break. I assume the huts and pavillions with hot beverages are open. Then we hike to Altkönig (798 m). We continue down to Falkenstein castle ruin, then Rothschild mansion. From there we hike to the Kurpark, the old city hall, the Luxemburg Palace and finally the train station.
We meet in Fra Hbf at 9:15 at the beginning of platform 3 for RB 22 departing at 9:26. A Deutschlandticket or RMV annual ticket is recommended, but you can also buy a single day RMV ticket.
The distance is ca. 14 km. Have a look at the route and elevation in the photos section. Bring beverages & food for the way with you.
