Eberbach monastery, some castles and the rose festival in Eltville
Details
We start at Eberbach monastery, hike to Scharfenstein castle and then to Kiedrich with a nice market place and church. From there, we hike down to Eltville for the rose festival. There is live music and pavillons with wine and other drinks and food. We also visit the castle with its rose garden. After the festival break, we hike to Erbach with Reinhartshausen palace and then continue via the market place to the train station.
We meet in Fra Hbf at 10:40 at the beginning of platform 21 for RB10 departing at 10:53. A Deutschlandticket or RMV annual ticket is recommended, but you can also buy a single day ticket.
