Highlights around Wiesbaden with a festival at the end

We start at Fasanerie, a free zoo with animals that can stay outside in the German winter. We walk through it and then hike to Neroberg, from where we have a great view on the city. Close-by is the famous Orthodox church with it golden towers. We then hike to Sonnenberg, a castle and then to the Kurpark to the Kurhaus with the famous casino. The festival is also at the lawn of the Kurhaus and along the avenue to the Hbf. There are several stages with live music and many pavilions with drinks and food.
We meet in Fra Hbf at 10:15 at the beginning of platform 2 for RB10 departing at 10:24. A Deutschlandticket or RMV annual ticket is recommended, but you can also buy a single day ticket.
The distance is ca. 15 km. Bring beverages & food for the way with you.
