JOINING A GAME

Anyone can join at any stage of the adventure. Places go first to players from previous sessions, then anyone is free to join - even if they only want to play the one evenings session. If you do sign up, try to commit to that one session.

RULE SYSTEM

Ultra-light: emphasises simple characters and rules, player creativity, fast but decisive combat, exploration, adventure and deadliness.

WHERE

The venue is the Playce, a board game café in Frankfurt-Bockenheim. They charge €7 per seat, which you will have to pay for yourself. It's charged by them, not this meetup.

Additionally, you may not consume drinks, snacks, food inside the cafe that you have not brought from the cafe - but the cafe has a good selection of food, drink and snacks / sweets which can be paid with EC-card or cash.

SETTING

Into the Odd takes place in a fantasy world, but one that has reached its industrial age. There are dirty factories and mass-produced tools, but there are alien artifacts and the remnants of ancient civilizations to produce wondrous effects. Bastion is the primary city of the setting, and the place from which adventurers set out.

The Underground runs beneath everything, and the sewers of Bastion naturally merge into it. The landscape has lost cities, ancient broken statues, and evidence of cosmic horrors and strangeness housed in multiple ruins.
