Let's meet up to talk about sci-fi books! Other activities (especially movies!) not ruled out - the only limit is your imagination. All languages/nationalities welcome.
A note on membership: for price reasons we're on the limited Meetup plan, which means we're more or less full. We have a waiting list and do a biannual membership "cleanup" during which members who've been inactive for a long time get removed from the group and people from the waiting list get added. However, as the waiting list tends to be far longer than the number of available slots, if any particular book interests you, please do feel free to attend the meetup regardless of whether you're officially a member or not; we'd love to meet you!

Andy Weir: Project Hail Mary
Rumi's, Frankenallee 90, Frankfurt am Main, HE, DEProject Hail Mary is the third novel by Andy Weir, of The Martian fame - and it's currently rated higher on Goodreads than that! It's been described as a popcorn book, so it's no surprise that it's already been turned into a movie, about to be released this March.
According to Wikipedia, "(i)t centers on school teacher and former biologist Ryland Grace, who wakes up aboard a spacecraft afflicted with amnesia."
