3D Modeling for 3D printing with Tinkercad

In this meetup we'll discuss the basic principles of using CAD software to design models for 3D printers. Tinkercad is an incredibly easy to use online CAD program that allows you to quickly make printer ready models very quickly. The principles we discuss are universal, and will be helpful regardless of the CAD program or printer you use.
6pm - 6:15: Chill & Build (legos) with your fellow makers.
6:15 - 6:25: MakerSpace News and Ideas.
6:25 - 6:55: 3D Modeling for 3D printing with Tinkercad,
presented by: John Ward
6:55 - 8:30: Enjoy the lab, and your fellow makers the 3D printers will be on and available for use for the evening, bring your files... we'll be able to do short prints this evening. Also the laser cutter will be available.

The MakerSpace Open Lab is now open to the community. Their is a one time registration fee of 9$, and 10$ per session after that. MakerSpace Open Lab current hours of operation are posted here (with more to come):
