This is an adults-only group for people who love hiking, gem hunting, rockhounding, and exploring the outdoors in search of beautiful crystals, gemstones, fossils, minerals, and other natural treasures!
Our goal is to bring together adults in the Frederick, Maryland area who enjoy outdoor adventures and discovering new places to search for gems and minerals. We'll hike trails, explore creeks and other promising locations, and scout out new spots where we can legally search for and collect gems, crystals, and rocks.
We'll share knowledge, tips, favorite finds, and potential collecting locations while learning from one another along the way. Whether you're an experienced rockhound or just getting started, you're welcome to join the adventure!
