Frederick Cookbook Club: Umma: A Korean Mom's Kitchen Wisdom and 100 Family Reci

Join us for a love of cookbooks! We're a community of cookbook lovers who connect over shared food and recipes.

At this month's meetup, we'll each cook a dish from Umma: A Korean Mom's Kitchen Wisdom and 100 Family Recipes by Sarah Ahn and Nam Soon Ahn and share it with everyone who joins. Please prepare one serving of the dish you choose. If you'd like, bring Tupperware to take home leftovers!

Don't have time to grab a copy of the book before the event? Bring one of your favorite summer dishes instead!

Details

• We'll meet in the garage at Attaboy Beer on Sunday, August 24, at 12 pm
• Bring a dish from Umma and a serving utensil, as well as a label with your recipe's name and ingredients. If you don't have the chance to get a copy of the book, just bring one of your favorite summer dishes!
• Eating utensils and plates will be provided.
• Attendance is free, but Attaboy has asked that everyone purchase a beverage. They have beer as well as non-alcoholic options!
• (Optional) Bring Tupperware to take home leftovers.

Meetup caps us at 10 attendees, but there is space for more! If you'd like to join but the event is at capacity, please feel free to still join us. There is plenty of space, and the more the merrier!
