SUP Frederick’s Paddle & Peddle: Brunswick to Point of Rocks

Join us for a paddle downstream and bike back up the C&O Canal Towpath along the Potomac River.

📍 Meet: Brunswick Boat Ramp

• Lock your bike up at point of rocks before you head to the Brunswick Boat Ramp.

🕚 Meet Time: 11:00 AM
🚣 Launch: 11:30–11:45 AM

• Kayakers, SUP’pers, Canoes, and Rafts welcome!

We’ll paddle downriver from Brunswick to Point of Rocks, then ride our bikes back up to Brunswick along the scenic C&O Canal Towpath.

Total adventure distance is approximately 13.5 miles.

How It Works:

• 🚲 Before launching, leave your bike/ebike at Point of Rocks Boat Ramp and lock it up.

• 🚙 Drive to Brunswick Boatramp and launch with us.

• 🛶 Paddle downstream to Point of Rocks.

• 🔒 Secure your SUP, kayak, or canoe at the takeout using your bike lock.

• 🚴 Ride your bike back to Brunswick to get your car.

• 🚗 Drive back to Point of Rocks to retrieve your board or yak.

Important:

• ⚠️ This is a self-supported outing.

• 🦺 PFD required.

• 🚲 Bike required.

• 🔐 Don’t forget your bike lock!

• 🚻 Restrooms are available at both Brunswick Boat Ramp and Point of Rocks Boat Ramp.

• Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and anything else you need for a comfortable paddle/bike ride.
