Meeting to discuss 2025 and 2026 trips and activities

Hi Everyone,

Our next lunch meeting will be Sunday 4/27 at 2:00pm at Bentztown restaurant located at 6 Bentz Street Frederick, MD. We will meet in the enclosed meeting room at Bentztown. The meeting will be until 4:00pm.

We will talk about our trips for 2025 and 2026 and sign-ups for these trips will be available. The trips are:

• Peru trip 10/10/25 - 10/16/25
• Rhine River cruise 4/7/26 - 4/14/26
• Croatia trip 6/14/26 - 6/26/26

The Peru trip is a guided tour trip that starts in Lima, Peru and ends at Machu Picchu and Cusco. The Rhine River cruise starts in Basel, Switzerland and ends in Amsterdam, where you can see the tulips in full bloom in April. The stops in between include Strasbourg, France; Cologne, Germany; Heidelberg, Germany. And the trip to Croatia is also guided tour trip to beautiful cultural cities such as Dubrovnik and Split, Croatia and Sarajevo and Mostar in Bosnia.

We will also take suggestions for another trip in 2026. The group usually does three trips a year. There are four really good trip suggestions for our third trip in 2026. The third trip will be in the fall 2026. The suggestions that have come up are:

• south Caribbean cruise in October 2026 departing from Colon, Panama or Cartagena, Colombia
• guided tour trip of Costa Rica
• guided tour of National Parks such Grand Canyon; Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park (we try to do at least 1 or 2 domestic trips a year)
• trip to Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA

So, if you have any great trip suggestions for 2026 we will love to hear your ideas. Our goal is to select our last trip for 2026 at this meeting

In case street parking on Bentz St is full, the best option is to park at the parking garage next to the Frederick County courthouse. Parking is about $3.00 for two hours.
