Meeting to discuss 2026 trips and activities

Hi Everyone,

Our next lunch meeting will be Sunday 9/28 at 11:00am at Capital Crave. Please note the new time for this meeting due to the NFL football season. Capital Crave gets a lot of people Sunday afternoons so I am going to change the time for now to 11:00am and end by 1:00pm.

Capital Crave is located on Rt. 40 (Golden Mile) next to the VFW on Rt. 40. The reservation is under the name Frederick Travel Group.

We will talk about our trips for 2026 and sign-ups for these trips will be available. The trips are:

• Rhine River cruise 4/7/26 - 4/14/26
• Croatia trip 6/14/26 - 6/26/26
• New England/Canada cruise - 10/7/26 - 10/17/26
• Costa Rica trip 1/2027

The Rhine River cruise starts in Basel, Switzerland and ends in Amsterdam, where you can see the tulips in full bloom in April. The stops in between include Strasbourg, France; Cologne, Germany; Heidelberg, Germany. And the trip to Croatia is also guided tour trip to beautiful cultural cities such as Dubrovnik and Split, Croatia and Sarajevo and Mostar in Bosnia. The New England/Canada cruise departs from Philadelphia and ends in Quebec City with stops in Boston; Bar Harbor, ME; Nova Scotia; Prince Edwards Island; and Quebec City. The Costa Rica is a new guided tour trip that will be announced at the meeting.

If time permits we will also talk about activities and day trips for the summer and also brainstorm trips for 2027. Italy is definitely a must trip for 2027 since many in the group want to visit Italy!
