Kevin Greenleaf will do a short presentation for developers on how and when to obtain patents, and how to save costs doing so. Yes, it's patent law, but it will be pertinent and extremely useful to web technologies ;)

I know a lot of techies despise software patents; so let's talk about the problems with patents and how to make the system work for you.

We'll start off at the Frederick Arts Center for the presentation, then we'll all move to Brewer's Alley for some socializing and tech discussion.
