This meetup revolves around the topic of Free Private Citites, a form of advanced Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
More specifically, in a Free Private City a private company as a "government service provider" offers residents the protection of life, liberty and property. This service includes internal and external security, a legal and regulatory framework and independent dispute resolution. Residents pay a contractually fixed fee for these services per year.
Examples that most closely align with this concept are the so-called "ZEDE" Prospera and Morazan in Honduras and in some aspects the DIFC in Dubai. Several more such zones are currently in the making.

Meetups usually start with an introduction followed by 1 or 2 speakers on a certain aspect of Free Private Cities. Then participants debate the topic in an open forum.
