International Cities by TIPOLIS and Experiences from DIFC

Dr. Andreas Baumgartner, a highly sought-after leader and senior expert, is passionate about economic and social development, having operated at the crossroads of business, politics and law for 25 years.

Among his numerous accomplishments is his substantial role in the development of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), one of the leading special economic zones in the world.

In his impulse statement, Andreas will provide a glimpse of the new strategy of Tipolis, with International Cities at its heart, and how International Cities will offer new models of living together through innovation in governance, leading to greater opportunity, choice, and freedom. For comparison, he will also share some perspectives on the development and the innovations of DIFC, and what can be learnt for International Cities.

After the impulse statment, we will have a discussion around International Cities with Andreas and several other Free Cities Ambassadors.
