Intro to JavaScript at the Central Public Library (Downtown)

Details

Adults interested in computer programming are invited to join us for an introduction to the JavaScript programming language and learn how it’s used for web development.

We will meet 6:30-8:00pm Monday, Dec. 11, in the Riley Room of the Central Library, 40 East St. Clair Street.

Participants will be guided through the structure, syntax, and usage of JavaScript, and will be offered guidance for continued learning.

This free class is made possible by a partnership between Indy PL and freeCodeCampIndy, the local chapter of an international open source community that facilitates, helps, and encourages people to learn to code.

Some basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is necessary for this class.

• No food will be provided.

• Please bring a laptop to this event.
