Hello everyone. This is a meet and greet online zoom session where anyone interested can come talk with me to discuss your music interests and how I can best assist you.

There are no fees involved with any lessons that result from this zoom meet. Why no fees? In place of fees, I will be asking to fully document all progress of anyone utilizing this operation, so that I have a clear and concise "proof of concept" for the "free community music creation collaboration and exploration studio" which I have been developing over the last decade.

The basic idea here is that we now know the benefits of learning music and learning instruments, yet it is still much too overwhelming for anyone to get started on their musical journey. The costs associated with renting or purchasing instruments alone turn people away... because how will they know if they will actually connect with music? This leads to the justification that the pursuit will most likely be a waste of money.

Then, beyond the financial issues, there is the overwhelm that comes from not having a proper guide to ensure a person is approaching their learning in the correct manner. There are endless free resources available now through YouTube, yet that just adds to the stress: which resource do you choose? Are there hidden fees? Do they have your best interest in mind? Are you getting the right information?

Then you have the anxiety, fear and self doubt associated with any pursuit of the arts: Will I fail? Will I embarrass myself? Will I sound horrible? Will I make mistakes (yes, you will, but that is inevitable and a healthy part of learning anything)? These questions then inevitably result in a person asking themselves: "well, what's the point?" which leads to "... there is no point" thus psyching themselves out into the decision to not pursue music.

What I have come to realize is that in order to pursue music, a person needs two things: the tools and the knowledge. If you have only one of these things, you will get nowhere. So... enter the free community music studio, where you have access to both the tools and the guidance to start your journey free of the fear of wasting money.

Please be prepared for many questions from me about your musical history and interest. I will be approaching this one person at a time, so if there are too many that attend this zoom session I will take information, answer questions and then approach each person one by one.
