Haunted Castles of New England with author Sam Baltrusis

Details
Ghostly legends are synonymous with the turreted fortifications scattered throughout the English countryside. Much like its namesake from across the pond, New England is home to several haunted castles brimming with alleged paranormal activity, each with its own unique history and lore. The medieval-style Hammond Castle in Gloucester, Massachusetts, for example, is said to be haunted by the ghost of its former owner, John Hays Hammond Jr. There are three fairy tale-esque estates financed by local luminary Edward F. Searles, which included his beloved Pine Lodge mansion in Methuen.
Using careful research and firsthand accounts, author Sam Baltrusis delves into the history and mystery associated with some of New England’s most haunted castles.
Sam Baltrusis, author of "Ghosts of Salem" and featured in "The Curse of Lizzie Borden" and "A Haunting," has penned eighteen paranormal-themed books including the upcoming "Haunted Castles of New England."
