FREE HIKE - Exploring Spectacular Devil's punchbowl Circular !

This is a approx., 19 km circular walk that is going to start from the Devil’s Punch Bowl Cafe (meeting point). During this hike we will explore Devil’s Punch Bowl more closely and not just the surroundings.

The views across the Punch Bowl are spectacular & venture a bit further to discover the stunning scenery at Sailor’s Stone and Gibbet Hill. Legend has it that the Devil scooped up a handful of earth and hurled it at Thor, God of Thunder, the depression that remained is the Devil’s Punch Bowl. There are going to be fairly steep sections in this walk. Some of the paths are rocky and uneven underfoot and can also get very muddy at times, so good boots are a must.

There are public toilets available at the Devil's Punchbowl.

There is car park close to the Devil’s Punch Bowl Cafe GU26 6AB and bus 19 and 23 will take you from Haslemere station to Devil’s punch bowl.

The walk is completely free. You need good hiking shoes, a packed lunch, and a good spirit. This can be a moderate to challenging walk.
