FREE HIKE - A Scenic Loop from Amberley ! (Sunday Post Lunch Hike!)

I am back again and here is a hike this weekend around the South Downs.

Meeting Point / Start and End of the Hike:
We will meet outside Amberley Station (BN18 9LT) at 1:30PM. There is station parking available.

Approximate Distance: 11 to 13 miles
The route includes a mix of open countryside and hill climbs, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including Bignor Hill and Houghton Forest, the Arun Valley. Some paths may be made of chalk and flint and can also become slippery, so proper footwear is necessary. There may be a few road walking and crossings.

### Important Notes:

1. What to Bring:

• Good hiking shoes (essential due to uneven and slippery paths)
• A packed lunch
• At least 1 litre of water
• A torch
• A positive and adventurous spirit

2. Pace and Group Dynamics:

• Medium pace.
• Participants are expected to stay with or behind the hike leader to maintain group cohesion and ensure everyone can catch up.

3. Safety & Conduct:

• You are responsible for your safety and ensuring your actions do not harm others, animals, or the environment.
• Be respectful to fellow walkers and the surroundings.

At the end of the hike, we can go to a nearby pub for refreshment and socializing.
