If you’re driving, there is parking available at Chesham Station (HP5 1DB), which costs approximately £3 for the day. You can park there and take a 15-minute train ride to Rickmansworth Station to start the hike.

#### About the Walk:

This is a 11 to 13 miles (approx.,) linear hike through the Chilterns, following the River Chess from Rickmansworth to Chesham. Expect charming villages, scenic valley views, woodland paths adorned with bluebells, and open fields.

The Chess Valley Walk is an 11 to 13-mile (approximately) point-to-point trail that begins near Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. It's considered a moderate route. The trail offers scenic views of the River Chess and passes through charming villages and varied terrains, including woodlands and open fields. It's a popular route for hiking enthusiasts seeking a mix of natural beauty and local heritage.

We will go to a pub near Chesham Station after the hike to unwind.
