FREE HIKE - Rye Harbour and Camber Castle Circular and a Swim ?!

This is going to be another summer hike followed by a swim so don't miss it!

The walk will start outside Rye Railway Station (Postcode TN31 7AB) which leads to the 16th-century Camber Castle (from outside) and paves the way to the coastal path before returning to Rye Harbour. We will pass some livestock, plants, historic site and coastal paths during the walk.

The walk is completely free. You need good hiking shoes, 2 litres of water, a cap / hat, sun cream, swim wear, a packed lunch, and a good spirit. There may be some hills during this hike!

The walk will be at a medium pace and is expected to be approx., 12 to 14 miles. We will go to a pub/restaurant at the end of the walk.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable hiking shoes or boots
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Swimwear ?
• Water (recommend 2 liters)
• Snacks and lunch
• Sunscreen and hat (if sunny)
• A good spirit
