Details
This moderately challenging trail in Box Hill is an approximately between 8 to 12 km hike. Box Hill, which is part of the North Downs, affords views of the surrounding landscape. There's also a lot of fauna and flora there, such as the Adonis blue butterfly and the bee orchid. There will be beautiful views from the beautiful English countryside.
We will be meeting at Box Hill & Westhumble Train Station at 17:30 pm. Box Hill is a hilly hike. Please make sure to wear hiking boots/shoes and carry at least 1 litre of water and a torch. The walk is completely free.
The hike will be at a medium pace and is expected to finish by 21:00 pm and we can go to a pub next to the station where we can have a drink.
Please note - The participants are expected to stay with or behind the hike/walk leader and not go ahead of him as this is important to maintain the pace of the group and keep the group together and allow people behind to catch up.
