### 🚶‍♂️ The Hike

An approx. 13–15 miles hike through the beautiful landscape of Knole Park, just a short stroll from Sevenoaks town centre.
Knole Historic Deer Park, at Sevenoaks, straddles the Greensand Way and is the perfect place for walkers of all ages to enjoy long views across the North Downs. From here, you can also appreciate the changes of the seasons and wildlife amid historic trees and grasslands.
The hike leads you through open countryside and woodland to reach Ightham Mote and Fairlawne Estate — two estates with intriguing histories—a lovely hike through the beautiful rolling Kent countryside.
The walk follows mainly field and woodland tracks, with a couple of short sections of quiet country lanes (no pavements).
There are a few steady climbs and descents along the way.
