What we’re about

Easy social hikes under 10 km — explore nature, make friends, and practise English & Spanish on relaxed walks in or near Barcelona

🥾 New Hiking & Social Friends Group – Barcelona Area 🌿

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for around 10 friendly people to start a new hiking and social group in and around Barcelona.

The idea is simple — easy to moderate social hikes (nothing that kills us!) of under 10 km, about every two weeks on a Saturday or Sunday. Each hike will be within one hour’s travel from the city so we can be finished by late morning or early afternoon.

I’m in my early 50s, so I imagine most people will be in their 40s or 50s, but any age is welcome — it’s more about attitude than age!

We’ll aim to have a meal, coffee, or drink either along the route or afterwards, depending on where we go. If there’s nowhere convenient, we’ll just bring a packed lunch.

The group will be English and Spanish speaking, so it’s a great chance to practice both languages in a relaxed setting. All nationalities welcome.

I have a car, and if others do too, we can share rides and split costs (fuel, parking, general vehicle upkeep).

Later on, when it’s too hot for hiking, we can also plan beach days, brunches, or other easy socials.

If this sounds like your kind of vibe, join the group and I’ll send you more details about our first walk!
It’ll be a mixed group — not just ladies, and the main goal is to enjoy nature, connect, and have a good laugh. 🌞

Hope to see you soon, Sarah
