FREE Clinic To Learn Exercises/Stretches For Nordic Pole Walkers & Walkers!

  • This is an outdoor clinic during the spring and summer months.
  • Learn how simple stretches help decrease the chance of injury, increase your performance during your walk or Nordic Pole walk and decrease muscle soreness after you walk.
  • Stretching keeps the muscles flexible and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints.
  • Without stretching, your muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are unable to extend all the way risking joint pain, strains, and muscle damage.
  • You will also learn the simple muscle conditioning exercises that compliment any walk and why they are so important to all walkers and Nordic pole walkers.

  • Wear comfortable clothing and foot wear and bring your poles if you have them..
  • If you would like to sit at times, picnic tables are available or bring your lawn chair.
  • Everyone of any age and fitness level are invited to join these clinics!
  • Feel free to attend both clinics!
  • And yes, there are bathrooms at the south entrance..
