"Simple Portrait Lighting… with a Twist" with Gavin Hoey!

🚨 Gavin Hoey is back in NYC for the first time in years! Come see him do a live photography and lighting demo in person!

Join photographer Gavin Hoey as he travels across the pond exclusively for Adorama to lead a fast-paced live studio portrait session, demonstrating how a few simple lighting setups can be transformed into striking, creative portraits with just a handful of thoughtful tweaks.
Starting with straightforward, practical lighting that anyone can recreate, Gavin will reveal how small changes to light modifiers, positioning and camera settings can dramatically alter the look and feel of a portrait. From simple improvements to unexpected creative twists, you'll discover how to turn classic setups into images that stand out from the crowd.

Working in a compact shooting space using portable Flashpoint lighting, Gavin will demonstrate how creativity not complexity, is often the key to memorable portraits. Along the way he'll share the thought process behind each setup, showing how a single creative idea can completely transform the final image.
Perfect for photographers who want to create more dramatic, imaginative portraits without needing specialist gear or more space!
