Memorial Weekend Intermediate Sand Volleyball Costa Mesa

We will be playing doubles, 3v3, or no more than 4v4 with one sub per side, depending on attendance

Looking for high beginner to mid intermediate (or above) level players, in order to have competitive and fun games.

Have OK fundamentals and can control their hits, serves, passes and sets more than 50% of the time. Need to work on ball control more!

Beginner to Intermediate Level Rules:
1. No open hand receives unless receiving a HARD driven spike. We do this to encourage beginners to improve their bumping/passing skill
2. No set overs of any kind (accidental or intentional, even if legal in official beach format when facing the net)
3. Proper volleyball etiquette dictates players should try to pass, set, and hit before sending it back over the net. Please avoid one-overs when possible.
4. Avoid pushes, scoops, or lifts, but flexibility will be given. Call yourself.
5. Netting should be called out if the net moving was not in direct influence from the ball hitting the net and point award to the opposing team.
