Tucker's silver mine has been taken over by a tribe of Kobolds! The local lord has declared that anyone brave enough to remove the intruders will be given ownership of the mine.

This will be a campaign for Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk with 5e 2024 rules, starting with characters at level 1 and taking them to level 12. Max of 6 players.

The campaign will be held in-person on a weekly basis; players of all experience welcome!

Our first session will be a session 0 to set expectations surrounding tone, rules, character creation, difficulty, etc. My goal for session zero is to learn more about the players and what they hope to accomplish or experience during the campaign, and also for everyone and their characters to get more comfortable with each other (probably some light, low stakes mini encounters to ease everyone in).

Here are a few character creation guidelines we will follow:

• Only material in the 2024 PHB allowed (No supplemental books).
• 27 point buy system for character creation.

Some things I personally would like to emphasize in this campaign include:

• Character connection/involvement with the story and other characters.
• Elevated stakes for encounters (not necessarily life-or-death, but losses should have consequences beyond just not getting that loot or money)

I have a few house rules and additional character creation steps in mind to help promote those themes which I will pitch as an option in session 0, and players will have input for if and how much impact those rules/mechanics will have over the rest of the campaign. My goal as a GM is to work with players to run a game that we all look forward to playing, so I want to hear what each player wants from their experience and do my best to run the campaign and make tweaks where necessary to accomplish that.
