### The Chains Must Break!

A nation divided. For generations, magical creatures have been bound in service — chained as laborers, soldiers, and tools of power. Now, rebellion stirs. Cities are split, neighbors turn against one another, and the cry for freedom grows louder with every passing day.

The President has declared that no magical creature shall live in bondage again: “No creature should live in bondage — not unicorn, not fey, not dragon. Join us, and together we will break their shackles.”

You stand at the crossroads of a civil war. Will you answer the call to free the oppressed, fight to preserve the old order, or uncover the hidden truths that could change the course of history?

This plot will take place during the Civil War, with our heroes fighting on the front lines for freedom as conscripted soldier. Rules for the game are as follows: 2024 rules, all races and classes allowed from the core rule book. We will be starting at level 1, and running to level 8. The game should run a total of 20 sessions, one of which will be session zero (the meetup to introduce ourselves and connect and ask questions). There will be era appropriate items, muskets, cannons, etc. Join me for a fun game that is more roleplaying than anything, each session will have at most 1.5 combat sessions with the majority of the plot being character interactions and collective storytelling. For the Encounters though I am a bit set piece person, there will be Minis, Terrain, Trees, and More!
