Join us for a discussion of René Descartes' Meditations on First Philosophy, one of the foundational works of modern philosophy. Beginning with radical doubt, Descartes asks what—if anything—we can know with certainty, leading to his famous conclusion, "I think, therefore I am." Along the way, he explores the existence of God, the nature of the mind, and the foundations of human knowledge.

Whether you're reading Descartes for the first time or revisiting this classic, all are welcome. No academic background is required—just come having read the text and ready for a thoughtful discussion.
