What we’re about

Welcome to Free to Be! This group is thoughtfully designed for women who identify as perfectionists, people pleasers, overthinkers, or those shaped by high expectations—whether self-imposed or inherited—that led them to strive, shrink, or silence themselves in pursuit of acceptance or approval. You may often wrestle with fear of judgment, rejection, or failure—and feel tired of self-doubting, overexplaining, procrastinating, or constantly second-guessing your worth, your voice, or your decisions.

Together, we explore how to reclaim our time, energy, and voice by practicing radical honesty, healthier boundaries, emotional self-trust, and softer self-expectations—without guilt, shame or apology. Expect a mix of free and paid events ranging from journaling circles, affirming discussions, and deeper workshops designed to help you return to your power with care and clarity.

This group is for you if:
•You’re done dimming your light and you’re seeking a space where you can show up real, raw, and ready to evolve.
•You’ve navigated the pain of perfectionism, and people-pleasing, and now desire peace.
•You value healing and growth as a necessity to live with intention and are ready to do the inner work.
•You’re seeking tools, support, and community to empower yourself.

If this feels in alignment, come join us. Bring your story, your hopes, your questions, and your heart—just as you are. You don’t have to figure this out alone anymore.

Group Rules (because they make every safe space great):

  1. Kindness and respect are non-negotiable. No form of harassment or bullying will be tolerated. Let’s co-create a space where everyone feels seen, safe, and supported.
  2. Faces over avatars. Please use a Meetup profile photo that clearly shows your face. This helps us connect and recognize one another during events.
  3. Life happens—just keep us posted. If you RSVP but can no longer attend, please update your response as soon as you’re able. Many of our events have limited capacity, and your spot could be a gift to another sister. Updating your RSVP also honors the time, energy, and intention your host/facilitator pours into preparing every gathering. Thank you for your care and consideration!
  4. This is a judgment-free zone. While we ask that all shares remain confidential, feel free to take the lessons, insights, and affirmations with you on your personal journey.
  5. Speak when you're ready. Sharing is encouraged, but never required. Engage at your own pace and comfort level.
  6. Take what serves you, leave what doesn’t. Not every message will resonate, and that’s okay. Trust yourself to gather the gems meant for you.
